The Type 2 connector, also known as the Mennekes connector, is one of the most popular electric car charging connectors in Europe. The connector is compatible with various brands of electric cars, including manufacturers such as Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Tesla, Hyundai, Kia, Nissan, Renault and many others. This universal and versatile connector allows vehicles to be charged in both DC and AC modes, making it one of the most widely used electric car charging connectors on the market.
The easiest way to mount the charging station is to place it on the wall. The charging station comes with a mounting bracket and screws to attach the Wallbox to the wall. After attaching the bracket to the wall, clip the charging station into the bracket and secure it with a lock.
If you do not want to mount the charger on the wall, you can choose to mount it on a post. To do this, you need to purchase a special pedestal that will allow you to place the charger stably. Then, using screws and wall plugs, screw the pedestal to the ground. Once the charger is mounted on the pedestal, all you need to do is connect it to a power source and then to your car.
