Photovoltaic trackers

We designed the single-axis tracker with optimal use of solar energy and minimum cost of execution in mind. It features a lightweight distributed multi-pivot design and a single 20-degree tilt axis. Effect? Initial tests showed yields of 140% relative to a stationary structure facing south.

Why the inclined axis

The tilt of the axis of rotation by 20° gave us a 10% yield over the popular east-west farm trackers, which are parallel to the ground at noon.

Testing and development
