Bauer Solartechnik GmbH has been on the market for 35 years, with photovoltaics as its leading business field since 2003. Since then, it has produced more than a gigawatt of PV modules and built, as an investor and general contractor, thousands of PV installations in Poland, Germany and throughout Europe.
Bifacial panels are otherwise known as panels in which both sides are active and produce electricity. The advantage of such a solution is that production is increased relative to the nominal output of the panel. The design of such a panel uses sheets of tempered glass on both sides (Glass-Glass technology), which additionally makes such a panel non-flammable.

For the effectiveness of double-sided panels, the key factor is the so-called albedo coefficient, which shows the ability to reflect light from a given surface. The brighter the surface, the more light it can reflect, resulting in more energy from the back surface of the panel. Bauer offers a 30-year product warranty on the modules, with the standard warranty offered on the market usually being 12-15 years. The product warranty ensures the highest quality workmanship.
The linear (performance) warranty ensures that over the 30 years of a module’s operation, the efficiency will not drop below 87%. Few photovoltaic panel manufacturers on the market can boast such a result. The standard adopted by manufacturers is a linear warranty of 25 years with an efficiency of 84%.
