Jolywood bifacial modules

Bifacial modules have the ability to produce electricity from both the front and back of the panel. Reflected and diffused solar radiation is used here, which increases the overall energy efficiency of the panel. The Jolywood module is made of N-type silicon, which is characterized by up to 30% power increase compared to the P-type module. It is not subject to light-induced degradation, resulting in higher energy production. In addition, the offered module has a 25-year product warranty and a guarantee of 87.4% efficiency after 30 years of operation.

Bifacial technology – the added value of Jolywood modules

Bifacial panels are otherwise known as panels in which both sides are active and produce electricity. The advantage of such a solution is that production is increased relative to the nominal output of the panel. The design of such a panel uses sheets of tempered glass on both sides (Glass-Glass technology), which additionally makes such a panel non-flammable.

“These are double-sided active photovoltaic panels based on a p+-n-n+ heterojunction silicon cell structure, made with internal thin layers of amorphous silicon. For the effectiveness of double-sided panels, the key factor is the so-called albedo coefficient, which shows the ability to reflect light from a given surface. The brighter the surface, the more light it can reflect, resulting in more energy from the back surface of the panel.
